Yet you still have a few [persons’] names in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes, and they shall walk with Me in white, because they are worthy and deserving. Thus shall he who conquers (is victorious) be clad in white garments, and I will not erase or blot out his name from the Book of Life; I will acknowledge him [as Mine] and I will confess his name openly before My Father and before His angels. He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the [Holy] Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). Rev 3:4 –6

#6 – Law of Solid Ground – TRUST [21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by John Maxwell]
Before I left Texas, I brought this book with me and planning to read/study 1 Law/day for 21 days. [I have 27 days to do it]. Because of lack of activities at night and no internet and no tv in my room, I am forced to read. Glad I did and read 2 Chapters last night to catch up with my objectives. Law #6 really caught my attention – TRUST. I grew up here in Merida and I’ve seen family blossomed to prosperity but when I examined their current state, the family is in disarray and heart broken and low on financial resources. I don’t normally gossips and when my host start telling me this and telling me that – I normally just change the topic and lead the conversation to a healthy one. But sometimes I get curious of what happened to a specific couple of whom I know very well and asked this question: Mom, what happen to this family? My mother always giving me the long answer to the question and after 5 minutes in the story telling, I would end the conversation with a conclusion – the trust was broken. John Maxwell is right. If you want to succeed in your leadership [a family for example], spend a lifetime building trust and protecting it. Break the trust – the family enterprise fails.
