Cost Analysis between Packet 8 and Magic Jack Plus
PROBLEM: Cost of having a phone in Cebu and Merida is high [Waste of Resources]
FIX: Use Magic Jack Plus instead of Packet8
ATTN: Dayline and Briccio
DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE:
It was brought to my attention that there is a good alternative to VoIP which requires no physical computer. The requirements:
1. wired internet connection – RJ45,
2. 110V AC Source
3. regular phone.
The cost per year for my Packet account is ~$70.00/month. The cost to use the MagicPlus is only ~$60.00/Year. Doing simple math, I think OptionB is really a good and logical decision.
