“We use our tongues to praise our Lord and Father, but then we curse people who were created in God’s likeness. These praises and curses come from the same mouth. My brothers and sisters, this should not happen.” James 3:9, 10 ERV
As normal human beings, sometimes we open our mouth and express a totally out of the line statement and then later on we recognize that “Oh, I’m not suppose to say that”. The same thing with writing or even visual gesture. There is a person deep in us that needed some taming/training/subduing. The bad news is that we cannot do that on our own. The good news is, there is a way to do it.
1. Establish your belief system.
2. Practice your belief system openly.
3. Do it 24/7 if possible.
4. Pray
5. Praise

When we are angry, insulting/bitter words come out from our mouth and we cannot control our nervous system. We let our wrath dominate our mind. Later, we realize that we are hurting each other. It’s not easy to forget at once after receiving a reprimand and it’s not easy too to ask pardon and give pardon. But God is merciful, he knows our weaknesses. Through prayers, praying with the Divine office, meditations of the Word, slowly but surely it help us change the outlook of our life.
