Simple “Squared Away” Project

What does it mean to be “Squared Away”?
1. Everything is set and proper, clean, and tidy and ready to go 2. Everything is organized and no clutter.
3. Clean and ready to go.
4. To finish, to be done with.
5. High level of consistent performance for an extended period of time often applied to objects, places, events or generally anything that presents a high level of military order and discipline. 6. Flawless, spotless, perfect in any angle.

A few years back, I’ve read a psychology book about mental health. I did not realize that there are so many types of disorder out there. Why don’t you google the words “mental disorders” and read a few items.

The reason I mentioned mental disorder is because I’m about to embark on a journey that will transform a life of a disorganized child into a more functional and effective person by showing him examples of how important the quality of being organized can propel ones life into super satisfaction and efficiency.

My son who is about to leave for college in less than a year and will receive a military type training from his father who is somewhat organized ( I think).

So from time to time, I will post pictures about this project and hoping that a few of you out there can benefit also. No, I don’t want this guy to acquire a full dose of OCD, maybe just 40.5%.

Just a side note, I don’t have fOCD (full OCD), I don’t go crazy if the things in front of me is not lined up or in proper place and I can tolerate trash or improper location of things from time to time.

I am just a “squared away” guy.

Notes/explanation:
1. No sticky notes or post it hanging in my computer.
2. If an idea comes to mind, the idea gets written to the proper notebook.
3. Todo list goes to my field notes and then transferred to Evernote apps in my iPhone as soon as possible. 4. Pens are rank in order of importance.
5. iPhone is for blogging. Yes, I’m writing this blog using an iPhone4 (5s upgrade is coming soon). Ringer and alerts are turned off so if you need me, email me or leave a message and I will get it in an hour or so.
