Quadrant II-Important but not Urgent
1. Counsel somebody regarding relationship failure
– it’s not the end of the world
– strongest person is who can stand alone [in adversity]
– there is a person reserved for you in the future
– emotional pain is temporary, humans are able to regain balance in a few days
– it is not death in the family, you will be fine – don’t grieve too much [1 day is fine]
– abusive relationship is not healthy – mutual love and respect is a must
– relationship is a 2-way street
– if verbal abuse is present? it is a sign of failure – stay away from these people
– if jealousy is present? a sign of immaturity and lack of self worth
– if narrow minded? stay away
– if no vision? stay away
– if no dreams? stay away
– if proud and lack of humility? stay away
– if self centered? stay away
– if always talking about “I” stay away [me! me! syndrome]
– if you cried because of something said? not the right person for you.. stay away
– if unfaithful? stay away
– if no patience? stay away
– if no endurance in hardship? stay away
– if talking too much more than actions? stay away
– if cannot stand silence? stay away
