Life is good when I am still alive and breathing. I did my usual 2.4 Mile Swim today for 80minutes non-stop and a 25yard subsurface swim with 1 breath. Fortunately, I feel that I am in the best of my health ever. People are worried about my digital silence for two weeks now. I totally disconnected to other people except to my immediate family and co-worker [I have to talk to them]. To those of you who are wondering why I am disconnecting myself from the world – the reason – I want to devote myself to finding more of myself without any distraction from the outside world. If you need me though, you can still call my cell or email me. I’ve also turned off my facebook due to the fact that there is nothing really in there that interests me. No, I am not depressed. I can honestly tell you that most likely I am the happiest person in the world. I do hope that you will not judge me of being so selfish and not letting people in to be part of my world. I am in a quest for more peace. I have peace inside me but I want more. Journey with me if you are curious and you will know what I am talking about.
Day557 Significance
I was waiting for something to happen in Day557 today. More that a year ago, my Stent#1 failed and I have to get #2 put in due to a failed treadmill stress test. Before Day557, I was still in full blown cycling training but I was in pain. My left arm showed a sign of severe pain during an easy climb. It was going on for a while and I finally talked to my cardiologist and told him that there is something wrong. I can bike for long hours [>2hours] but during the climb, I will suffer severely. No chest pain though but my left arm will go numb for a long period. Here’s my journal entry on 7/3/2010

The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

0800, Leave house to North Austin Medical Center
0900, At North Austin Medical Center [outpatient] with Britta, Brittney, Brent and Chadd
1000, At cath lab, stent over stent at same place
1100, At cath lab
1200, Recovery
1600, Allowed to move
1700, Removed hospital gown, looks like nothing happens; changed to normal clothes
1800, Functioning normal, just minor pain at the cath entry point
1900, Chadd and Britta came back. Dinner
1900, Dr. Wozniak came and explained what he saw at the cath lab. Previous stent at same place LAD was 90% blocked. He placed another stent under the old one. He is puzzled as to why the blockage reoccurred because all the countermeasures [diet, exercise, medicine] were in place. He is currently switching to a different medication. His advice, keep doing the same thing – he meant keep the cardiac diet, exercise and medication.d
2000, Britta and Chadd left
2100, Remote login to home server; continue on the Sharepoint 2010 upgrade. Finished the Sharepoint 2010 foundation setup but then stucked in the configuration process, big problem – the SQL2005 I’ve installed long time ago was the x86 version. Need to convert to x64 to complete the setup.
2200, Lights out at Room 374 3 South5 Whys:
1. Why am I writing this journal at Room 374?, angioplasty.
2. Why angioplasty?, failed treadmill stress test.
3. Why the failed stress test?, EKG was abnormal at heart rate >130.
4. Why EKG was abnormal at heart rate >130?, old stent placed in 2008 was 90% blocked
5. Why the old stent in 2008 was 90% blocked? Unknown, but cardiologist switching to a different blood thinner medication
