Restore Linksys Firmware from HSMM-MESH

I have 5 nodes of HSMM-MESH network at home for testing and I needed only 3. I’m currently testing with other MESH networking setup and I have to revert back to the original Linksys firmware.

HSMM-Mesh Networking for Ham Radio
Step By Step:
1. Set Obtain IP Automatically in your Notebook’/PC LAN Port
2. Connect laptop to Node’s LAN Port #1.
3. Connect WAN port of the Node to network with internet connection
4. Open web browser http://172.27.0.1:8080 or http://localhost:8080
5. Login with username=root, password=hsmm [or your password]
6. Go to the Administration link
7. Click Refresh button
8. Select designated firmware Linksys-WRT54G
9. Click Download
10. The firmware will be downloaded and installed
11. Wait for the DMZ LED to turn off
12. When Power LED is steady, open web browser http://192.168.1.1
13. Router is now back to Linksys Firmware
I’d like to revert, too,but unfortunately you do not tell too much. Can’t understand why I’d need Internet to WAN port? Where does it get the binaries from? Shouldn’t I have a .bin file or something??
Are you reverting the Linksys firmware back from HSMM-Mesh firmware to the original Linksys firmware? http://www.hsmm-mesh.org/documentation.html . The instruction is for HSMM-MESH configured WRT54G.
The WAN port connection is for the router to connect to the internet and download the firmware binary files. When you click browse, this action uses the internet connection to get the bin file.

I’m trying to revert, but I never get an option for my firmware (Linksys WRT54g v.3)
I only get 3 versions of HSMM (even after refresh)
Is there some obvious step I don’t understand?
bogus information, HSMM is looking for trx files and the linksys firmware is a bin file. So this procedure will not work….Probably need to tftp to the router to revert back to the linksys firmware.
