When Love Matures…

“There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection]. We love Him, because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:18, 19 AMP
“Love-a strong positive emotion of regard and affection; an object of warm affection and devotion.”
“Maturity-the period of time in your life after your physical growth has stopped and you are fully developed.”
The true test of a genuine relationship is the existence of love. The true test of a genuine love is the existence of trust. the true test of a genuine trust is ‘the lack of fear’ in the relationship.
When love matures, there is no more room for fear.
