I almost forgot what happened 8 years ago with my heart. I’m not sure if this is a good thing or not. Not remembering things can be bad…. but this can also be good, I’ve recovered psychologically. Meaning – that the event that took place 8 years ago around this time of the year that almost took my last breath away does not have deep imprint in my mind.
I don’t have confidence with my heart anymore or my body. I am well aware that the next moment can come at any time. I am now perfectly well and back into long distance cycling, swimming and hiking but my activities does not assure me of the future. I am grateful for my extra days but I am also vigilant/embracing of the day when it comes. It feels like I have a scheduled meeting with with my Stent #3. I’m not afraid anymore to face what will happen. In fact I am more excited to meet the day. The excitement is what makes me truly grateful for what I have now. We normally value things in our lives when we know we don’t own it forever.
Enough for the self-made drama, it’s not me. I just want to mention here [for the record] that I am not that all 100% happy… maybe 90% …. because of what happened 8 years ago. It changed my life, my mindset and my views in life.

Book-Smart Choices by Hammond
Today, I finally finished the book “Smart Choices”. It’s a “must read”. Someone already made a summary about the book and it is very detailed [see link below]. When you get a chance, please read the summary. And if the summary is not filling you up, buy the book at Amazon. I applied the principles from the book and made a powerpoint template before completely reading the entire book, I came close but not perfect. Anyway, I’ve accomplished my objectives.
