- What is it?
- 100% occlusion of Left Anterior Descending Artery causing no blood flow to the myocardium.
What was suppose to happen?
Blood supposed to flow/circulate with ZERO obstruction to the heart.
- 100% occlusion of Left Anterior Descending Artery causing no blood flow to the myocardium.
- What actually happened?
- Left Anterior Descending artery was 100% blocked, Zero flow to the heart.
- Why did it happen that way?
- Unknown source of blockage in the entrance of LAD.
- Hypothermia (20081104 2.4Mile Cold swim)-triggered an event-Thrombosis
- Thrombosis–>Up blood viscosity–>Blood clot–>100% occlusion LAD–>MI
- What will we do to improve the way we do it next time?
- Implement cardiac diet, low fat and cholesterol
- Regular exercise (no changes).
