Epidemic of lost hope today
What is true hope?
When you have a true hope, you can accomplish anything
True hope-you will not be disappointed
Hope-confidence expectation in what is sure
Absolute hope: God is Hope

HOPE IS…
1. Hope is – having confidence-that God will provide

2. Hope is – overcoming odds
– overcoming what is against you
– joy in believing, not just in receiving
– hope against the lost of hope

3. Hope is – picture of a preferred picture
– visualize the future
– when you don’t see the picture of the next day, hope is lost
– picture a better day
– picture of better tomorrow
– God does not talk about where you are; but your potential – a hope of the future

4. Hope is – energy that sustains
– Faith, Hope and Love
– Hope is the catalyst between Faith and Love
– Faith – vertical commitment to God
– Love – horizontal commitment to humanity
– Hope gives you the energy to go on
– Hope is in heaven – heaven is laid out/promised to us
– Person of Hope = Christ
