100% Truth; Day058

God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?  Numbers 23:19

0730hours, If you really take the verse today literally, it means that “God tells 100% truth”, that everything He says in the Bible is true.  It is really hard to measure faith, how far can we go deeper when we try to believe that God never lies.  First, we really have to believe that the Bible is His Word.  How true is that? How can we be so convinced that it is.  Well, that is when faith comes.  You really have to believe first in Him and then when your faith is established in your heart, you will begin reading His Word and then His Words becomes alive and your journey into faith starts.

I am excited when I read a verse like this – “God cannot lie”  because He mentioned many promises in the Bible for you and me and imagine… those will come true.
What are those exciting Promises: [these are just a few that I like]
1. What about when He said He will give peace and comfort and joy and hope
2. What about when He said, I will provide for you
3. What about when He said, I will never leave you nor forsake you
4. What about when He said, I will give you long life [hmmm, really and not in the 40’s]

Dream #1:
I was staying in a house that was not so organized, furniture were not properly arranged and even saw my time trial bike parked blocking the kitchen.  A manager from one of the Samsung department visited the house but he was visiting the girl staying with me. He brought flowers to that girl indicating he was trying to win the heart of the girl.

Dream #2:
My family was in a vacation in Cebu and the objective of the day was to go to a special place somewhere up in the mountains.  I decided not to bring my camera but when we arrived at the location, the place was so beautiful and told them that I need to leave the group and go back home to get my camera. On my way back home, I have to ride a jeepney
[for those who don’t know, just google it] and since the location was at the mountain top and there was no place to turn around, the driver has to drive backwards from the long downhill and at the slope was a knee-deep river.  Since it was a steep backward downhill, we got wet a little bit when we plunged backward into the river. So I arrived home but somehow I got side tracked and lost the awareness of time and my purpose of going home and totally forgotten that my family was waiting. When I realized that, it was already 2-3 hours past the timetable.

1047hours, Church was great today. We had a communion and of course I was by myself.  My team as usual was still sleeping and I really wish they were with me.  My household is still divided when it comes to faith.  I guess I have to go on this journey by myself most of the time.  I am not worried about it for God had made a promise.  In due season, their eyes will be open.  I truly understand that “the walk with God” is an individual journey and not a group effort.  Each one of us must go through each phase of the journey alone and in that essence, we truly experience and know Him, when that happens, our faith is established beyond no doubt. One day…
