Ting/Ma/Britta:

I know how hard it is to face death in the family.  What your family went through in such a slow and painful process is hard to comprehend. I heard the cries at the very last moment and I am deeply touched also. 

In my point of view, Papa won!  In his last days,
1. He traveled to the US and bid goodbye to those who cannot be with him in his last breath.  
2. He made it through his 86th birthday.
3. He made his children do the hardest thing they can ever do in life – be with him till the end.
