I grew up in a town called Merida, a small town in Leyte, Philippines. Haiyan [Yolanda] passed by Leyte and Cebu island a few hours ago. We have two homes in the Philippines, one in Leyte and one in Cebu. I’ve tried calling yesterday before the storm and the phones are out. No contact.
